Rent a Car X-GO Terms and Conditions

Age of Driver / Additional Driver

Rent A Car X-GO requires that the primary driver and any additional drivers must meet specific age criteria:

  • Minimum Age Requirement: Drivers must be at least 21 years old, depending on the vehicle category.
  • Additional Driver: Additional drivers must also comply with the age requirement and possess a valid driving license.

Driving Licence

To rent a vehicle from Rent A Car X-GO, the driving license must be valid and have an active expiry date.

Safety on Road

Rent A Car X-GO prioritizes safety by offering the following insurance packages by default or through the Basic package:

  • Theft Protection: Covers costs related to vehicle theft.
  • Basic Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Covers costs in accidents involving third parties but does not cover damages to the rented vehicle. Note that a Police/EU report is required.
  • Personal Accident Insurance: Provides financial protection to the driver and passengers in the event of an accident resulting in bodily injury or death. This insurance is valid only within the borders of Montenegro

Fuel Policy

To ensure fair usage, Rent A Car X-GO has the following fuel policy:

  • Fuel Level Check: The fuel tank level is checked at the time of pick-up.
  • Return Requirement: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up, otherwise, additional charges will apply.

Vehicle Use

  • The Customer agrees to use the vehicle only for lawful purposes.
  • The vehicle must not be driven outside Montenegro without prior written consent from the Company.
  • The vehicle must not be used for commercial purposes, racing or towing.

Payment Options

Payment must be made in full at the start of the rental period. Rent A Car X-GO offers flexible payment options to accommodate different preferences:

  • Online Card Payment: Pay by card online and receive an instant 5% discount.
  • Cash/Card on Delivery: Pay in cash or by card upon vehicle delivery, though no discount is provided with this option.

Liability

  • The Company is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
  • The Company is not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the rental.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

The cancellation and refund policy at Rent A Car X-GO is designed to be customer-friendly:

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time will be fully refunded.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations within 48 hours will incur charges only for car-related expenses, while additional services such as insurance packages or equipment will be refunded.

Duration of Rent Policy

Rent duration is calculated based on the following criteria:

  • Daily Calculation: Rental days are calculated based on the pick-up and drop-off times.
  • Additional Day Charges: A higher drop-off time compared to the pick-up time will result in an additional day of rent being charged.

Cross Border Policy

For customers planning to travel outside Montenegro, the following conditions apply:

  • Green Card or Cross Border Permit: Required for travel to Albania and North Macedonia, available as an equipment option for 24.90€ for the entire rental period.

Different Drop-Off Location

Rent A Car X-GO allows for different drop-off locations with applicable charges:

  • Additional Charges: A fee can be applied for choosing a different drop-off location from the pick-up point.

Traffic Violations

The Customer is responsible for any traffic violations, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period.

Monri WSPay Usage Statement

Rent a Car X-GO (point of sale) uses Monri WSPay for online payments.

 

Monri WSPay is a secure system for online payments, real-time payments, credit and debit cards and other payment methods. Monri WSPay provides customers and merchants with secure entry and transfer of entered card data, which is confirmed by the PCI DSS certificate that Monri WSPay has. Monri WSPay uses an SSL certificate of 256-bit encryption and TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol as the highest level of protection when entering and transferring data.

Statement on the protection and collection of personal data and their use

Rent a car X-GO undertakes to protect the personal data of customers, in such a way that it collects only the necessary, basic data about customers/users that are necessary for the fulfillment of our obligations; informs customers about the way the collected data is used, regularly gives customers a choice about the use of their data, including the ability to decide whether or not they want their name removed from lists used for marketing campaigns. All user data is strictly kept and is available only to employees who need this data to perform their work. All employees of Rent a car X-GO and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.

Statement on protection of personal data transfer

Protection of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council No. 2016/679-Regulation and Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.

 

Monri WSPay, as an executor of credit card authorization and billing, handles personal data in its capacity as a processor and handles personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council No. 2016/679 and according to the strict rules of the PCI DSS L1 regulation on data protection and data transmission.
